INDOOR AIR QUALITY

HOW DOES YOUR FACILITY'S IAQ MEASURE UP?

With your team’s safety and wellness top of mind, of course you want team members to breathe indoor air that meets local and national standards. OSHA provides guidelines for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) taking into consideration both ventilation and air contamination standards.

It’s important for facility managers to be familiar with these standards and to have the right tools to measure their facility’s air quality. Additionally, there should be systems in place that alert you if IAQ issues arise.

LOWER THE VOCs IN YOUR FACILITY

It’s possible that you could you improve IAQ by using products with low or no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), by storing chemical contaminants properly, or by using a portable extraction system.

You may also want to consider incorporating respiratory protection. If you could use a hand exploring these options, let us know.
